Intership 

I intern at the indie starter up called Lumissium, I worked remote along side with five other interns and two staff members. My role was as Level and Audio designer, I worked on the layout of the map along side another fellow intern. Later durring the intership I shifted my focus to audio design and audio folliage. My main assigment was to replace any audio in the game that was not fitting or felt out of place. The Company worked in a custom engine built by the lead programmer. I mostly talked and worked with the lead programmer ,also the other level design intern durring my intership.

Imagindar

The title that the company was devolping is Imagindar a

high fanatsy PVP Action game. Where there are no predifined classes and the player can customise their own class, abilties and gear. With an custom alot of customsation and a map creator.

I made the starting concept of the layout of the middle area and made the first prototypes of the map. This would be where the start of the fighting will happen and were the players at first need to fight over who is going to win. The purple squares are traps and the green area is a fighting area. The green area later got turned into a control point when we shifted the whole level to be control point based game mode.

The Design of the middle area was to not have a square space to fight on have more of a natural centre and also force the player into the middle to be able to get forward.

This how It tured out when I built it. Because we did not not have all of the props I needed for the blockout I made use of what we already had. When building I also realised that there was no covor for the player to hide behind so I added more cover. I also built the other mini islands where the teams spawn and have their first check point. We also got feedback from internal playesting that we need alot of cover because you can use range attacks.
