
Diner Dates
This Project was made durring my second year of univercity by a group of 7 including myself. The time span of the project was 2 months. I worked with Audio and Programming along with audio implementation and narrative wiriting.

Audio Design
The audio of the game was entirely made by me. I added sound effects for non-digetic sounds (UI) , for customers ariving and when a customer buys something. I even added sounds for when you place and radio or jukebox in the diner that will brefly play.
Programming
The the code that were added to the project from me was audio programming. I made sure that all sounds were played when they were suppose to be played and made an script to play songs from a list that repeats and never plays the same song two times after one another.



Daisy
Amara
Lumen



Narrative
The characters I worked on were Lumen, I wrote the majority of the dialouge for this character. Then I wrote he first drafts on Amara and Daisy, However they were edited and changed later on by another team member.
Retrospective
Durring the production phase two three weeks worth of work had to be cut on my end. In the orignal vison we had plaend to add mini games for each type of food/drink in the game. Then however it got cut out because of the feedback we recived from mentors and due to the deadlines I would have not been able to finish my other assigments. The lession I learned was that it's okey if the things you worked on don't make it into the final game. What matters is that games are an iterative process where the outcome is not allways the same as the first vison.
